Privacy and cookies

Mutt & Mog is the controller of the personal data you give us.

We collect your name, delivery address, email, phone number, order details and the answer to "How did you hear about us?". We use them to deliver your order, send tracking, handle returns and keep tax records. Our lawful basis is the contract with you and our legal obligations.

We share your name, address and phone number with the warehouse that packs your order and the courier that delivers it, and with Stripe, which takes the payment. Some of them store data outside the UK under UK-approved safeguards.

We keep order records for 6 years for tax purposes, then delete them.

For the length of your visit we note which website sent you to us: the referring page, the page you landed on and its web address query. It is kept in your browser's session storage and in a session cookie called mm_src, both cleared when you close the browser, and it is saved with your order so we know which websites send us customers. Our server also logs the referring website and landing page of visits, with no name, email or identifier attached. Your basket is kept in your browser's local storage. We use no advertising cookies.

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
